Patras Greek Delights

A part of Greek tradition

Loukoumi (Greek delight) has been an integral part of Greek tradition for many years. This unique sweet combines pure, natural ingredients, offering a distinct aroma and a signature velvety texture.

In Patras, loukoumi has its own special story. As early as 1850, loukoumi workshops were flourishing in the area, and the sweet soon earned its rightful place as a beloved local specialty.

Patras, the gateway to loukoumi

It is no coincidence that Patras became the gateway of loukoumi to the Western world. In the 19th century, an English traveler passing through Patras brought loukoumi back to his homeland — and from there, it found its way across the globe.

The Skiadaresis family has become synonymous with loukoumi in Patras. Starting from a small workshop in 1946, the business is now in its third generation, continuing this unique tradition with the same joy and dedication as when it first began.
